Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Table Mountain, this guesthouse offers an ambiance that strikes a balance between warmth and elegance. The highlight of my mornings was undoubtedly the breakfast prepared by the lovely hosts, Elize and Anne-Marie. Each meal showcased their culinary innovation, featuring freshly sourced ingredients that reflect the local culture. I found myself particularly taken by the seasonal fruit selection and artisan pastries, complemented by rich, locally-roasted coffee. Exploring the nearby culinary scene revealed delightful options like Café Paradiso and the Black Sheep Restaurant, each just a short walk away. The vibrant atmosphere of Kloof Street enticed me, and I relished the opportunity to sample diverse dishes, from traditional Maldivian flavors to contemporary twists. Elize’s attentiveness during my stay further enhanced my experience. Despite a minor room issue, her promptness in resolving the matter reaffirmed the guesthouse's commitment to hospitality. I left Villa Zeezicht certain that this blend of culinary delight and inviting ambiance is where food lovers and travelers alike will feel right at home.
